Now your journey leads deeper into the desert. Your mobile camp will be set up at Piper's Pans. The three connected pans offer breathtaking wildlife viewing opportunities. They are the largest salt pans of the Kalahari and are covered with an untypical green bloom. Watch giraffes, zebras and antelopes gather at the pans. Your journey continues over endless, overgrown dune fields and vast pans before you reach the magnificent and wild Tau Pan. At Tau Pan Lodge, your tents are pitched on elevated wooden decks, allowing stunning views over the wide landscape. Listen to exciting stories around the campfire or watch the wildlife at the nearby waterhole.

Enjoy the view of the scenic flight to Khwai on the eastern edge of the Okavango Delta. You will realize how varied Botswana's landscape is. Watch galloping giraffes and elephant herds right under your feet. Surrounded by green oases, you will spend the night here in canvas tents in the middle of the bush. Discover the richness of the region on game drives, bush walks and a ride in a mokoro. Khwai is known for its large elephant bull population, but calves are also frequently spotted here. Many lions, leopards and servals also live in the area. By the way, Khwai is also called the Mecca of bird watching in Botswana.
